As an employer, it is your legal responsibility to ensure the health and safety of your employees and those affected by their work as far as reasonably possible. This also applies to employees who drive for work. With this in mind, we have created an online driver risk assessment and training hub, designed to provide you with the tools to manage the health and safety of your drivers. Our online driver training hub available for companies and businesses in the East Africa Region (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi), providing an effective, low cost, driver training solution. It is recommended that any training taken online is supplemented with in-vehicle training where possible. This can be arranged and provided through our partner organisation in the region, Royal Oilfield Logistics Services & Supplies Limited (ROLSS).
Our Online Driver Risk Assessment is designed to provide businesses with a low-cost risk assessment for their drivers. This allows you to gain an insight into your drivers’ driving ability, and their level of risk when driving for work. Through this, we will be able to provide you with a driver and company report, which will provide you with guidance on further training, where necessary, to help ensure the safety of your business and drivers.
The Online Driver Risk Assessment consists of three sections, each of which focuses on an area of potential driver risk. Part 1 of the Online Driver Risk Assessment consists of a driver profile analysis that explores your drivers’ experience, accident history, training record and working conditions. This will score your drivers’ level of risk based on their driving history, allowing us to identify any medium or high-risk drivers who may benefit from or require further driver training.
Section 2 of the Online Driver Risk Assessment consists of a psychometric analysis of your drivers, to gain an insight into their driving behaviour and response to stimuli. This part of the risk assessment will score your drivers in a variety of different areas, providing a driver risk level and feedback on the areas where your drivers may be at risk when driving for work. Through this, we will provide you and your drivers with custom feedback with recommendations on actions and training which may be beneficial or required to ensure the safety of your drivers.
The third and final section of the Online Driver risk assessment will test your drivers’ knowledge and understanding of the Highway Code and potential risks when driving for work. All of the questions within this section are tailored to the Highway Code of each country within East Africa Region, ensuring that all content is relevant to your drivers. This section does not affect the overall risk level of your drivers, however, it does provide an insight into your drivers’ knowledge and understanding. Through this, the risk assessment will highlight any areas where further training may be required.
Following the completion of our Online Driver Risk Assessment, you will be provided with a driver and company report with custom feedback. This report will highlight the risk level of your drivers, with recommendations and guidance on any training or support which may be required. If you have any questions or would like to find out more about our Online Driver Risk Assessment please complete our contact form, and one of our expert team will be in touch.
In addition to our Online Driver Risk Assessments, we offer a range of Online Driver Training Courses to help educate drivers on potential safety risks and develop techniques to further develop their driving skills. We are currently in the process of developing our range of courses but will be sure to post any updates when our new courses are released.
